I've been in Subaru sales and leasing for seven years, now at Luther Bloomington Acura Subaru. Originally from southern Minnesota, I enjoy working with people to find the right vehicle for them. My approach is to help guide customers through the process, providing information so they can make informed decisions at their own pace. Outside of work, I'm blessed with a wonderful wife of 28 years, Claire. We're proud parents of Helen, a college senior -- and nearly off the payroll -- and Rosie, a high school senior. My educational background includes the University of Saint Thomas, where I focused on History and Theology. I've been in sales overall for nearly 28 years, and am proud to have earned a good number of awards, including three times as a Subaru Peak Performer, which is on sales numbers, as well as several criteria for customer service. I enjoy representing a brand like Subaru, which has a strong commitment to its customers. Plus, I have a knack for remembering random facts, which sometimes comes in handy!

I hate car buying. I did a lot of research with different dealers and Tom was the one I choose because he worked with me first through emails. I felt comfortable and was really impressed with the test drive. He really went through all the features and how they work.

I had a great experience buying a 2026 Subaru Solterra Limited XT from Tom. He made me feel excited about the experience of test driving and purchasing a neat car. I never felt pressured about anything. He didn't make it feel like he's trying to close a sale as soon as possible, rather he was accommodating, giving with his time and insight, and focused on my positive experience as a customer, which for me was about selecting the right model and trim of EV at the best price in the Metro. I had to wait 8 weeks for delivery (so I could get the awesome Midnight Tide Mica color), but he kept me apprised of the manufacture and delivery process and timing. In the end, the car delivered exactly on my birthday, as had been projected within about 48 hours of my order, it was worth the wait, and what did Tom do when I came in? He had the whole crew at reception sing Happy Birthday to me when I came in to accept delivery. Really happy with the purchase and the buying experience, I'm working on putting two people into Subarus this year, and I'm sending them to Tom.
