Knowledge of Subaru vehicles seems cursory at best. Came in to diagnose an issue with the “Eyesight Camera System”. Looked only at the cameras and not the system as a whole. Wanted me to spend over $2k on new cameras not to solve the problem, but as a “first step” towards trying to diagnose it. Having a customer throw thousands of dollars at a problem to diagnose it by process of elimination is utterly asinine! It’s also the strategy of an amateur, not a professional. Learned the nature of the problem in my own, which if the Subaru Service Dept was competent at all would have figured out and told me about (it turned out to be a break-in issue with some new parts that had been recently installed). If you are looking for knowledgeable professionals, you will NOT find them at Bloomington Luther Subaru! Also, as a bonus, the customer experience by itself was AWFUL! Short of a massive, brilliantly lit Neon Sign saying “We couldn’t care less about you!” I don’t think Bloomington Luther Subaru couldn’t communicated their utter indifference fir their customers! Definitely do not recommend and definitely won’t be back!
